Meet the Team

Kyle & Kristi Watson

Kyle and Kristi got married in 2008. In 2015, Kyle left the industrial manufacturing industry to join the family business, where Kristi had been working since 2005. They bought Ozark Insurance Agency from Kristi’s parents, Gary and Elke Mitchell, in May 2019, becoming the third generation of the family to help customers with their insurance needs. Kyle specializes in working with businesses to meet their insurance requirements. His experience in industrial sales has given him a deep understanding of how various businesses operate. Kristi worked in Ozark’s Commercial Department for 13 years before moving to the Agency’s Marketing and Accounting. Despite her change in role, she is always ready to assist customers in any way possible.

Kyle and Kristi have always loved traveling and trying out new things. However, their biggest adventure began when their twin girls were born in 2016. When they are not working, they still enjoy traveling and creating memories with their family.

Felecia

I grew up in Baton Rouge until I met and fell in love with Gabe McGrew a Zachary boy through and through. Despite my hesitation about that “country life” I dove in headfirst. We got married in July of 2008 and went on to have 2 beautiful girls, now 14 and 11. We spend most of our time right here in Zachary running our girls to and from all their school events. If we aren’t chauffeuring the girls around, you’ll find us at our church or hanging out with friends and family. Our days are filled with busy activities, but I wouldn’t have it any other way.

I joined the Ozark team in January of 2016, yes right before the flood! I honestly thought insurance would be so boring. Boy, was I WRONG. I have always been a people person and super passionate about helping others, this was exactly where I was supposed to be. Through the flood and the hurricanes to follow, I quickly realized I was doing more than just selling insurance. I was helping take care of people and their investments through some of the toughest days they would face. Our team operates more like a family than an office and we are committed to treating you just the same. Louisiana has faced some incredibly devastating times over the past several years but despite it all have rebuilt stronger every single time! It’s been a beautiful thing to witness.

Laura

Hi my name is Laura Smith. I grew up in Ethel and now live in Zachary with my husband, Chris. We have been married for 17 years. I have 2 stepsons, 30 and 22. We spend most of our time with our families, at our church and raising our dogs. I started working at Ozark in February 2019. I had never worked in insurance and didn’t know what to expect. I love my job and helping customers every day. I really feel like we have a great and wonderful team. It goes more than just working together, we feel like family. I can’t wait to see what our Ozark family can do in the future to help our insureds and their families.

Sara

 I am originally from Pennsylvania and spent my childhood enduring cold snowy days. I met my significant other in 2014. He was born and raised in Baton Rouge. He quickly convinced me to move south… The hospitality has been remarkable. We had our first daughter in 2016 then our second daughter in 2021. We absolutely love raising our two girls to be kind, virtuous southern belles. Our family free time usually consists of swimming, gardening, school events, DIY projects and just spending quality time with extended family.

I have a strong background in customer service and decided to dive into the insurance world in 2022. It has been an awesome journey so far. I am such a people person and truly get joy from connecting with my clients and their families. I feel like it is a privilege to be able to understand the most important aspects of my clients lives and educate them of any places they may be unknowingly exposed. The Ozark family is a rare find and I couldn’t be more thankful to be a part of it. I look forward to the future and all the adventures it will bring.
